This is an extra credit assignment for those in my  1st,4th, 7th,and 8th periods who may wish to improve their grade or replace a grade of zero. 

THIS IS A MANDATORY ASSIGNMENT FOR THE PERIOD 2 C&G Class.

Access the video linked beneath the picture.Watch this three minute video. Post a comment on how its contents relate to  three key points of this year with the 147 Exegetes. Your response must be a well written paragraph of seven to ten sentences.

Read Luke 15: 11-31 and study the oil painting.

List and explain a detail from the parable that emphasizes humanity.
Select and explain a detail from the parable that emphasizes divinity.
How does Rembrandt try to capture these two details?
Make specific reference to how Rembrandt uses color, space and tone to dramatize the details of the parable.  you might wish to study the painting from another website to better see the details of the painting.
