  11. Homo viator means traveling to a journey, the saint that gave us this idea of homo viator was Josef Pieper.
It’s not a linear bc there are stages through life also the world is like a circular. The green line represents where God is, the black slash represents the stages we have to go through to see God, the dotted blur line represents the pathway to success and heaven. The Hayes Cross County runners fit in because they are running a circular line not linear and they have to go through different stages to win like how we have to do to find God .

The term “homo viator” means a man on a journey or a man or a mission. St. Thomas Aquinas gave us this idea. The graph shows that your life is a circle. The graph is a circle and not a line because your life never really stops because after this life, you go to heaven. The green life represents your life on earth and the black slash represents death and the dotted blue lines represent purgatory. The Hays runners fit in with the graph because they run around a circular track or they run to a location and then back to the starting point again. Sometimes they run slowly and other times quickly, just like we do in life.

  16. The term “homo viator” means man on a mission or man on a journey. St. Thomas Aquinas was famous for this idea. The graph represents man’s life here on earth and then his journey back to God. It is circular because life is a circle; we start with God and we finish with God. The solid green line represents our life here on earth. The black slash represents death. The dotted blue line represents purgatory which leads us back to God.
The Hayes runners represent growth and life as they continue on a journey. Their finish line represents victory just as death is victory because it leads to God. They too run in a circle which represents the circle of life.
